Hart Historic District

The Hart Historic District has numerous old-time attractions and historical buildings to appeal to all ages. Tour a restored 19th century church, one room schoolhouse, log cabin and Chief Cobmoosa's house (restoration in progress); also, an original grist and flour mill, windmill, and much more.

Little Sable Point Lighthouse

The beautiful red brick lighthouse built in the late 1870's is a must see. This tower stands alone at the base of Lake Michigan, over a hundred feet tall and still harboring its original 3rd order Fresnel lens. Enjoy a climb through time as you hike up the 139 steps to the top to savor the breathtaking views of the beach and the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
